Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

That burger special is every single thing. I was traveling from out of town and my friend told me that there was a really good cheap eats that were could get on a specific night. I thought it would taste like every other burger. Instead it was such a great surprise. They use different beef cuts and packs a lot of flavor. I love that they actually know how to make a good medium burger.

The food here is very good. This is a higher-end steakhouse which will take good care of you as a customer. The wings here are also pretty fantastic as they are smoked and available at a wing discount price during happy hour. There is outdoor seating with fire pits that keep you warm when it's a little bit chilly outside. Parking is usually ample, however during busy times it can be a little tight. I recommend making reservations.

Significantly smaller than the location in Christiana. Everything we ordered was drastically overcooked The Potatoes Au Gratin actually came out brown. Both steaks were ordered medium well...they were cooked well done, then taken off of the grill put back on and grilled well done again. Any other place would receive a 2 star rating..but the manager did comp one of the steaks and I know Firebirds can do better than this...their location in Christiana is outstanding.

The meal was fabulous. The staff was short handed but not too bad. We did order an appitzer (tuna) but when we said we wanted a salad for one of the sides and they brought them out 1st then out meal came so they just adjusted our bill. We had added the lobster to our steaks and just fabulous so it was good we didn't have the Seared Tuna anyway. We ordered our desert to go so we could enjoy better.

My goodness...Happy Birthday to me...this place is fabulous!

Food: Not only is it just a steak house, the menu offers a diverse choice of entrees. Think fancy steakhouse quality, all at an affordable price. I'm at work right now, day dreaming about my leftovers when I get home.

Service: Our waitress was super sweet. She offered to hold my bday cake in the back and provided plates and knives. She was super attentive to our needs, friendly, and personable.

Venue: Low lighting, intimate, great place to grab a few drinks. Or to go on a hot date. When you are inside it doesn't feel like you are in a shopping plaza.

Definitely would recommend!
