Pie-zon's

My wife found this place first. She told me about this pizza place on mcdade blvd that makes italian/new york style pizza. She had bought pizza from there before for me to taste it. And it was good. But I wanted to try my own favorite type of pizza. So we went there the other night and I got a large pepperoni and mushroom cheese pizza. Couldn't barely wait to get home to eat it, I was so hungry. Ate half of the pie that night. Ate the other half the next day. The pie tasted amazing! Best I've had in this area. Definitely best to eat when it's fresh out of the oven. Mine was fresh out that night when I got it. When I warmed the last half of it back up in the oven that next day and I bit into it, the mozzarella was just so stringy and gooey when I pulled it away from my mouth. Like in a teenaged mutant ninja turtles cartoon! I love pizza like that. The perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Their pizza is a thin crust, which I now prefer over regular crust because after eating one half and then the other the following day, I wasn't even full. But I sure was satisfied. The light thin crust is all the dough you need for a balanced pizza like this. It's a light, delicious thin crust pizza. And I ate all of my crust too. Definitely will be going here again when I want pizza fresh pizza take out. I'm going to be that regular guy like every month or so that gets the hot fresh pepperoni mushroom. As long as my wife and budget allows me to that is. ????

Pie-zon's is truly great food, with authentic Italian cooking. We go there
despite us living in Delaware, because we enjoy their food. Pizza is excellent, spaghetti and meatballs, baked ziti, are all that my family have tried and enjoyed it all. l The owners are professional and friendly. Restaurant is very clean and has a pleasant and relaxing environment. Give it a try YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

Awesome food! Great service. This is my new go-to place for take out.

Great neighborhood pizzeria with an extensive salad and pasta menu. Their lunch time specials are fairly economical. New owners who are very friendly and professional. Don't think you would be disappointed with anything you ordered but they're crunchy chicken salad is my wife's favorite

Decided to order a simple late-night meal so I ordered a large cheese pizza for $11. Ordering was easy and pizza was ready as promised. It’s definitely a NY style pizza, with a bit thicker crust. Although it was more greasy than I’d like and the pie had a thin coating of dough on the bottom, it was pretty tasty. The cheese was fresh, sauce was perfect and the crust itself seemed homemade.

I’d definitely try them again, but hopefully on a day that they can be a lil easier on the grease. I’ll write more reviews once I try their other menu items.
