This is not a quick buy-and-run kind of place. It's run by the owner, and she works at her own pace. It's very cute, very homey, slightly too expensive--exactly the kind of thing you expect from a little boutique shop.

This is a fantastic local gem. I love the environment and decor. Also they are super quick and their food is so good! Their drinks are also good. I highly recommend becoming a regular here or stopping by if you are in town.

BUT, know what you want before you get in line. This place is kind of known to pitch a fit if you mess with their efficiency. Which is exactly why I love it!

Wonderfully scrumptious home made foods that go nicely with their delicious coffees

This I had a ham and swiss cheese breakfast sandwich with eggs on toasted sourdough bread. It was delicious. The owner and cook, Shirley, is a wonderful baker and makes some of the best quiche I've ever had. Her potato leek soup is also worth a try. The cafe is situated in the center of Lansdowne and the interior is cozy with art and photography always hanging on it's walls.
