“Glad I went! Glad I didn't go by bad reviews. The service was great! The food was good. I got Singapore rice noodles. First batch was very salty, but it was re-cooked and was delicious. Tables are close, but we didn't mind. Atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. Those who say it is old may be pickier than I. I see the age, but it wasn't a dump. Will definitely go again.”

“This is a warm and inviting place to eat, either alone or with some pals. It's cozy but not cramped. There is a feeling of visiting a friendly neighbor. Of course, I have no idea what to order to eat. I draw a blank and sincerely ask my server to **Surprise me!** and I have never been disappointed. “Nice little breakfast and lunch diner in media. A little bit off the beaten path but worth it. The service was great. Even though it was our fist time in we were treated like regulars. You could here conversations that the staff took interest in getting to know the patrons. My son said that they had the best chocolate chip pancakes he's ever had and specifically asked me to write this review stating so. Not going to lie, I take offense to that statement of his but won't hold it against the restaurant. They have daily specials and menu items which makes me happy. I had a bacon and blue cheese omelette and my son had chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate milk. He's a bit of a chocolate fiend.”

It's tough to just check out or ask suggestions. I accidentally knocked over someone's beer that was on the check out counter. Terrible fate for a beer. I could see an expansion of the space being beneficial.”

“This place has been a solid staple of the area for every bit of 20 years to my recollection, and I don't ever recall having been particularly disappointed. It can be quite busy at times, especially Sunday mornings, but service is so fast there that most any time spent waiting for a table is short. That said, I've never felt unwelcome spending some extra time finishing up a cup of tea after a leisurely Sunday breakfast. What I've always known as "The Diner" is an excellent choice, and one that I highly recommend.”
