Cornerstone Pizza

Love their "Giant" which is essentially a Sicilian or Detroit style.

Haven't been here since last decade. I pass by it almost every week though. From what I remember, they have good pan pizza.

Oh how I've missed this place since moving out of Prospect Park to Wallingford. Yesterday I was back in PP and got myself 2 orders of wings to get my fix. One mild & one zesty garlic. Gonna freeze em & enjoy during the week.

Cornerstone Pizza was another spot that had been on my radar for awhile. Simply for the fact that it is right next to a wawa I deliver to. I decided to go ahead and give the steak a try since they didn't have pizza by the slice which was a real bummer. But in many regards I'm glad they didn't do it by the slice for the circumstance that the steak was easily one of the best tasting, top tier steaks I've ever eaten. The peppers delectable. The cheese was beautifully contrasting to the chops which were cut exactly how I like them to be. Definitely give this one a shot! My only criticism for the steak I would have if any is the need for more chops in the sandwich. But the taste by far overwhelms this minor critique!

I grew up in Delco, but moved to Chicago 25 years ago. When I come back for a visit, I want a good cheese steak. Not only does Cornerstone make a great steak, but they're right on the way to/from the airport so I can be sure to stop in twice while I'm in town. Great friendly service too.
