Went as a group of 10 friends and every meal on the table was FABULOUS 😋👌.
Our server Deb was SUPER FABULOUS 👍
I had Italian wedding soup then Black Linguine with shrimp 🍤 scallops and 🦀 crabmeat. My wife had Shrimp 🍤 and 🦀 crab risotto.
Afterwards in the parking lot we talked about when we'd like to return because the portions were quite large and we had no room for dessert 😥😜
Tried the new Italian spot in the area, and with a diner sized menu our expectations were middle of the road.
Service was excellent and the food was better than expected! We enjoyed it enough to stop back in for a second meal a week later! Definitely on our regular dinner spots list!
I went here for the first time the other day and it was great! I ordered a house salad and spaghetti with chicken on it. Everything was delicious, my family and I really enjoyed it. The service was fast and our waitress was so friendly too. We'll definitely be back again soon.
It's nothing fancy inside (still looks a lot like Trieste) BUT the food is truly outstanding. You get bread and some oil with spices to dip. We have had the gorganzola steak bites (delicious) and the cheese curds (good, not great), and everyone loves the homemade croutons on the house salads. The seafood chowder was also well liked at our table.
The seafood alfredo got two thumbs up for not being too buttery /greasy (lots of times the sauce seems to break, not the case here). The gnocchi also was liked as was the seafood fantasia (raved). I have had the rigatoni alla vodka with chicken a few times, it's always fabulous with fork tender chicken.
We have tried tiramisu for desert and it's disappointing - not at all a traditional style. It's a cake with cream and was dry and plain. Skip the desert and do an appetizer instead!
Portion sizes are decent, but not obscene. Prices are a tad high, but worth it bc everything tastes perfect and is on point. I'm just glad
Lamensa is finally open and it was well worth the wait. They have an extensive menu. The food was delicious. The portion sizes were big. The Gorgonzola Steak Bites (pictured) were amazing. The service was great, very friendly with the right amount of attentiveness. The food was so good that we had to stay for dessert, and we were not let down. Their cappuccino machine was broken, which would have been nice but did not take anything away from this great restaurant. We will definitely be back.
