We found that the quality of food is a hit or miss. Sometimes we would come in and try the food and it would be excellent and other times it would be prepared very sub standard. Some say this might be attributable to the chef who splits his time potentially between the downtown locations.. but I'm not certain but the results appear that way.
The ambiance of this place is very good. The drinks are watered down however.
The decor is modern and the food is good but the business usually seems slow...
I live very close to the Wayne location and have dined there a few times, and have gone to the bar as well. The cocktails are okay-but definitely expensive, so I usually stick with ordering beer...
I have been overall happy with the food! The price is high but their kitchen is fast! Many dishes are on the spicy and salty side.
Food was good. However if you do not consume meat or chicken and only seafood or tofu be aware they only use beef and chicken stock, no seafood or vegetable stock. I shared soup with my neice which had tofu as a protein only to learn that it was made with chicken broth regardless of the protein being tofu.
As I said good food nice place, I would just recommend that you ask about everything that you order and how and with what it is prepared if you are particular about what you consume.
Great environment and very clean. Wait staff was excellent.
One of the best Szechuan and Taiwanese restaurant I ever seen! The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is right on point. The staff are friendly, and helpful. if you're interested into trying new Cuisine, I definitely recommend this place.
I've frequented DanDan on a few occasions. Each time has been better than the last. I would highly recommend the twice cooked dish with fish. The only drawback is the dim lighting. Great for a romantic experience but brutal for reading the menu. If you're in the area or on a date, this is a great restaurant to visit .
