Went to Shake Shack for dinner, ordered burgers and fries to go. The store was clean, the workers were friendly and greeted us right away to place an order. We were not ready to order, so we stepped aside to look at the menu and the worker was readily available once we decided on our food. Once our order was placed, we were informed it would be an 8-10 minute wait. There was some seating available while we waited. Our order was ready in the 8-10 minute window. Our food was still warm when we got home and we enjoyed the meal.
I couldn't wait to try the shake shack. I ordered a single burger no cheese with lettuce tomato and pickles. I received a burger and a bun. Burger was not throughly cooked. After I put it in the toaster oven to finish cooking the burger. The taste was delicious. The fries were good too.
Good food, good location, missed the fries for my order. Please double check order before sending it out.
Edit: A rep reached out, apologized for my experience and offered a comp for my next meal. I decided to try again at this location — they got the order wrong again. I added, and was charged for cherry peppers on my sandwich, but it was not actually added.
I returned a third time after that encounter for a simple shack burger since I had a coupon. So far the record is 1 of 3 orders correct. The fries have been consistently pretty good.
It pretty clear corporate is trying to help to establish this location, however it seems most of the employees hired do not really care. Keep less people on staff, train those remaining people better. The kitchen appears insanely crowded and inefficient.
