    Never been to a diner where the waiter and the cook were the same guy. Lol!
    I was there on a Sunday afternoon. I was the only customer there!
    The menu is decent and the prices are very reasonable. My Western omlette was quite good!
    The place needs a better marketing strategy to attract customers cause of the location.
    Overall it's a good diner.

    The gentleman ( im assuming owner) was very nice. Its a very clean place. Food and coffee was great! Prices are great as well but you can only use cash as a form of pay. But they have an atm! Not busy. Will be coming back.

    Good food.
    Plenty of seats.
    You have to turn off rt 291
    And on to Powhattan.

    Came up from Macon Georgia on our annual baseball trip visiting different parks. Choose Mel's for breakfast. Couldn't have chosen a better place. Everything was home made. Great sausage. Great omelette. Totally recommend.
