Staff was friendly. Food was good but portion sizes large. Price reasonable. The posted photo of the brown pancake is just one wheat pancake. It was hard to cut because it was far larger than the plate so I had to start from the middle. Table size was small and cramped. Bathroom wait necessary because there were only two available. Coffee Creamer was the kind you get in single servings that don’t need refrigerated. Not enough room. Fruit with child’s meal was fresh and tasty.

It was very busy today and our food did not come out as quickly as we are used to. Our waitress did bring the banana pancake for my 18 month old granddaughter. She was finished before we got our meals. Maybe that was what made it seem like a long wait. (It looked so good and we were all hungry.)
I had the seafood omelette. Fabulous! It had an excellent balance of shrimp and crab with tomato and muenster cheese. It was a great treat. I had my first taste of cinnamon flips. So light and airy! You really must try these signature pastries.
My DIL had the bacon cheddar potatoes with eggs over easy. The eggs were perfectly cooked.
My son had chorizo smash. It was very good and he often gets the same.
I love going to Flip Cafe whenever I visit.

Love Flip Cafe! It's a little hometown gem. I usually get the cheesy leek potatoes with 2 eggs over easy with a couple of cinnamon flips with coffee when I'm there for breakfast. If it's lunch, I get the tomato bisque with a giant grilled cheese. Whatever you get, it'll be delicious and the portions are generous. They add new creations all the time and the dessert case is always full of giant cupcakes. It's a great place to meet a friend or two or even have a business lunch! One of the cooks is a talented writer for the Erie Reader as well!

Flip Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Great, eclectic variety of food, great service- we are never disappointed when we go there and anyone I've ever taken loves it as well!!! Expect to wait during breakfast and lunch rush, but that is because it's a favorite place for everyone ????????????❤️
