Room 33 Speakeasy

We love Room 33! Their servers are very friendly and welcoming. I especially like their Chocolate Lava Cake! They have great music playing too.

We visit here once a month or so and have never had a bad cocktail. My wife loves the espresso martini and I'm always partial to an old fashioned. We were able to partake in their first cocktail pairing dinner and it was really well done. The food was delicious and the cocktails were thoughtfully paired. The dinner ended with a pretty rare bourbon that is hard to find and was a pleasure to try.

Good place for some real cocktails. Food could be improved, but is still really good for a quick bite. Obviously the atmosphere compensates for any shortcomings.

A really great concept for a "hidden" public gathering spot. The atmosphere supports a smaller casual crowd. You can sit at the bar, at a table for a meal or kick back with a small group on the sofa or arm chairs to enjoy a drink with a few friends. A full menu with a nice variation of entrees and a good list of spirits to choose from, too.

I love Room 33. I have been there a number of times. ItThe atmosphere and vibe is great. It's just not a great place to eat. The servers are great but the entrees takes way to long to arrive. When it does, it's usually a 4 out of 10 in quality and presentation. With a little more attention, I think (and hope) it will get better. I will probably go back, just not to eat.
