Sloppy Duck Saloon

Sloppy duck was banging. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was on point, and the ducks swimming and waddling around were adorably awesome. We went up for a family members wedding and though crowded, we enjoyed ourselves and certainly understand why it gets so crowded! The two guys checking IDs and hand stamping were endearing and funny as well.

Had a couple of beers and an appetizer at the, they are solidly average. Nothing was terrible, but then nothing was really that impressive either. This review maybe just be due to the fact that it was kind of a short visit. I will update when I have a full meal and give them a more complete review.It was however an interesting place. The update: the second visit was much more enjoyable. Service and food was excellent.

We paid the "double parking fee" of $20 to be able to park at the Sloppy Duck during the Tuesday concert on the Bay. We were told that we had to use the voucher on Tuesday night either before of after the concert. We arrived at the Sloppy Duck at 8:50 pm. We wanted
to have a bite to eat and use up our $20 voucher. We were told by the "hostess" that the kitchen was to close at 9 pm. We sat down anyway and waited for a wait staff to come over. No one ever showed up although we saw two waitresses and several waiters pass by. Finally my cousin asked one of the waitresses if we could see the menu. Sara brought them right over. We ordered drinks and a large nachos to share. Sara was wonderful. She was friendly and very professional. Several other tables of guests showed up and also ordered food disregarding the "hostess" that told them that the kitchen was closed. We spoke to Erin the night manager. We told him about the "hostess" turning customers away. He said he would check on it.

10/5 the best way for me to describe our service would be.. stellar.extraordinary, beyond good, Our server was the best. he kept up with us and all the random requests. He provided drinks when we were thirsty an appetizers when we were hungry. The dinner was fantastic. Thanks Mike.

I love this place! Great atmosphere & delicious food... and apparently the fastest cook in the world! We couldn't believe how fast our food came. If I had to find a downside, the margarita was just okay.
