The Cove Bay-Side Restaurant & Tavern

Nice restaurant in a great location with good food, nice people. For some reason the service was very slow, as was the kitchen. I think they were short handed between indoor and outdoor customers.

good location on the bay and a relaxed beach themed atmosphere. good sandwiches and burgers, but the service was slow. they seem to be trying hard, but fall victim to being understaffed - three servers can only handle so many tables. if you're expecting a restaurant, you'll be disappointed. if you want a bar that also serves food, it's a great place to spend an evening.

The location and view are amazing. Just don’t order any food if you go. And if you do order food, bring your own utensils. Thinnest, cheapest utensils almost makes eating a salad comical. We ordered a few appetizers (they are not sharing size), meals and their “famous” Rum Runner drinks. Do not let the “3 minimum” scare you... it’s basically a cherry slushy. Portions are child sized, at best. Salad had one cherry tomato and some lettuce.
But, the Tiki bar is a lot of fun with music and a tropical vibe.
