Samurai Kitchen + Sushi

Recommended. We aren't picky eaters but what we got was better than we expected. We did believe that certain things we ordered were not completely worth the price. What stood out to me the most was how polite the service was.

Host was nice. The place isn't that big but has a cozy vibe to it. In a good way. Not to the point where you feel cramped. Our waitress Kassandra was on her A game. Was always checking in soon us. The prices seemed a little high until you see the portion you get. Definitely worth it. The wife had the poke bowl. Very nice presentation and packed full of flavor. I had the if on seafood noodle bowl. Was a little to clean of a taste for my liking but still very good. Had to add a little spice to it. Even though it's not suppose to be. Would definitely retire when in the area.

My hibachi chicken was unsatisfactory dry.... seriously over cooked chicken breast, how can you kill a quick cook cubed chicken, doesn't the chief taste it??? And the other hand the spicy calamari appetizer was absolutely delicious...
I want to try the poke bowl but at nearly $20 I don't think I'll ever try it.... Do they have half-price days???

The waitress we had was very polite. I thought the food was a bit overpriced for the quality. We got their hibachi and was disappointed with it... the steak was overdone and the shrimp were not "jumbo" We didn't even receive our rice till pretty much after we were done eating. The sushi was pretty good, we didn't get anything too creative however, the stuff we saw coming out looked beautiful. Not sure if I'll go back to be honest.. we shall see

Service was superb thanks to our server, Skye! Food was fresh and plentiful--beautiful presentation and wonderful flavors! The decor was modern but inviting. A great place for our large group to celebrate a special birthday--even sang happy birthday and gave free ice cream to the birthday guy!

Will be back!!!
