The Bean Coffee House

Best coffee shop in the Erie metro area. Was here a couple years ago and stopped here this time as a break on the way to Canada. Still as nice as I remember, with really good food, service and excellent coffee.

Great as always, food and drink is always hot and prepared freshly. Unless it is supposed to be cold of coarse. This being said, it does get busy and may take 10-15 minutes to get an order depending on the day. My wife and I are frequent customers and know the staff and owner by name.

Great place to start or end the day.

Overall, I liked it and I’m very picky about coffee. It seems like they have a lot of drink options. None of the food options appealed to me though since we arrived in the afternoon. Some constructive criticism though: there were items on the menu that were not visible when you walk in. For example the bubble tea I didn’t notice until I looked at the screen while paying. Likewise there was a special drink on a chalk board that was below eye level. It would be better for all menu items to be together.

I can't say enough good things about The Bean! Small Business, awesome coffee, great food, relaxing atmosphere - by far my favorite place to hang out in the Erie area! ♡

This is a great spot near Main Street. Excellent coffee, wonderful preparation. Good food and a great selection for a small spot. Everything is very reasonably priced, and the entire dining room is gorgeous. Lovely locally-made art, and lovely locally roasted coffee
