Sunset Grill

Beautiful location. Great atmosphere. We rent a pontoon boat from them every year. This year I happened to mention that a family member walked slowly because of medical issues. Jake went to pick her up from the parking area with a golf cart. He was so nice and engaging as he gave us instructions that we had a fantastic time!

We were in Edinboro visiting the state college there and came across this great bar/restaurant right on the water. We went at sunset, which was gorgeous on the lake, sat outside in the patio area while a band played and had some food and beer. Waitress was attentive and friendly, food was good and the whole place had a relaxing vibe. I kind of hope my son chooses the college nearby so I can come back!

Stopped here today for the first time. Very nice little place on the lake. Nice breeze coming off the water. We both got the steak tacos. They were very good. The waitresses were all very nice. If we are up here again, we would definitely come back.

The bartender saved the night. Hostess claimed there was a wait for patio seating when we arrived, so we sat inside and noted about 5 unoccupied patio tables. There was no hostess stand or reservation book. Just a line of people behind us coming in and getting seated outside. Not really a huge deal... We waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table... Anyone... We watched a server visit the tables on either side of us. Finally, we asked the bartender if there was a server for our table. He waited on us the rest of the evening. The meal was delicious and he was very attentive. We're not really sure why we got the second class citizen treatment. We showered, we were in clean clothes, we were polite, we were patient... It was busy, but not crazy busy... We will think twice before returning.

3 steak tacos, chicken salad, side of sweet potato fries and 2 waters. $25, plus tip, $31. Over priced. Tortillas were cold and had that flour flavor, you know, thick and chewy. This is pretty much the only outdoor seating place in town and is not dog friendly. Staff are friendly, location is pretty, food is so-so
