Historic Summit Inn Resort

We really enjoyed staying here. Even though some of the neighbors were loud and could hear something banging most of the night. It’s beautiful here and the staff is very friendly. Everything is so clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend this place.

Best view in Pennsylvania, I guarantee it! 2 different pools and a spa outside, added with a nice game room downstairs. Rooms were very historic, and staff was very helpful. I will definitely be back in the future:)

What a charming piece of history! We chose to stay here based on a recommendation from our son. We arrived mid-afternoon and spent the afternoon exploring the hotel. There is a hall that exhibits historical documents and news articles tracing the history of the inn. We enjoyed a drink overlooking Uniontown and the valley then spent some time in the pool and hot tub before a fabulous dinner on the patio. Breakfast was incredible and staff is very friendly. The character of the building and grounds makes it a very interesting place to stay.

Enjoyed the experience there. The view is spectacular. Being it was July 4, we watched a number of fireworks taking place in various towns from this top of the mountain inn. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The rooms are a little dated, but the employees were all very nice and service was good.

I love everything about this place EXCEPT the cleanliness of the rooms. I love the old charm, historic feel, and beautiful pool and views. Staff is friendly. Occasionally you pass through areas that are a bit musty (but that is to be expected with it's age). The most surprising thing about this place IS THE FOOD! Oh my word! So incredibly delicious, full of flavor, unique, and fairly-priced meals. All in all, we will still return in the future. So quaint and peaceful.
