As far as Chinese buffets go, this is one of the better ones in the area, and the one my kids prefer. There is usually a decent selection of items, with chicken dishes being the most abundant when it comes to meat options. The sushi is mediocre, with little real fish in any of the options, but the flavors not bad. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Food was hot and fresh. Service was good too. Typical Asian style buffet food the hibachi food looked fresh.
Can't say enough great things about this place. Food is always fresh and full. Joanne runs a great restaurant and she is so nice and always happy to see me and family arrive weekly. Keep up the great work! Recommend to anyone looking for fresh food at a great price.
Our favorite buffet in town. Very clean, with amazing food. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. Definitely recommend this place!
Saga Sushi Buffet and Hibachi is the best Asian Buffet I have found in the Cumberland Valley. I did not know it existed when it was recommended to me when I complained about a nearby place to my neighbor (See my other Review).
The Environment is clean and comfortable, and the selection is wide. I was there at 6:00 PM on a Wed evening and it was 2/3rds full. Plenty of Staff -- friendly and efficient-- and the buffet kept fresh and hot. In contrast to elsewhere, the serving trays on the buffet are smaller pans which are quickly refreshed as soon as nearly empty. This guarantees food is fresh and hot and not dried out by the heat lamps. Hibachi grill did not do custom orders, but kept the grilled items coming hot and fresh to the buffet.
The selection was wide, from Sushi to all the standards, with a few unusual choices I had not seen before in most places-- Like bacon wrapped shrimp, Cayenne Chicken, and a full selection of non-Asian dishes including vegetables for those more traditional in taste.
As I finished, I asked the young lady cashier if I could take pictures for my review. She happily agreed and we had quite a conversation as she told me about the history of the buffet and the family connections. She also pointed out that they have had some poor reports in the past, but had worked hard to get things right.
Saga Sushi Buffet and Hibachi is my newly found Best in Chambersburg for Asian food. Be ready with an empty tummy before arriving, and a warning that you will likely leave loosening your belt!
