Very good food! Worth the trip. Recommend reservations at least on Saturday evening.
Our first time at Chip & Stone. Great Irish Pub, in Carbondale, PA. Started with the Turkey Balls, a good appetizer. I had one of the stuffed burgers with the a side of Irish Mac & cheese. Wow! My complements to the chef. My wife had one of the chicken dishes with grilled asparagus. Delicious. Topped it all off with the Irish Poke cake, yum. Great friendly staff. Will definitely make this a repeat.
This was our first time at the Chip and Stone Pub, it was recommended by a friend saw a deal on Local Flavor for $12.50 you get $25.00. We got there about 5:00 and it was starting to get a little busy so Friday or Saturday I would recommend a reservation. Nice pub style eatery not fancy but nice! Menu has a nice selection, something for everyone, it was a Friday during Lent so we chose the crab cakes and Yeungling battered fish old Bay fries and Mac & cheese everything was very good will definitely go back for other selections! Great drink selection plenty of off Street parking. so give it a try!
We had never heard of Chip and Stone until we saw it on channel 16's Home and Backyard. We took our family and decided to give it a try on St. Patrick's day! It was fantastic! Chrissy, Eric and the entire staff was very welcoming and friendly! The shepards pie was to die for! Everything we had was great including awesome desserts! Tricia was our waitress and she could not do enough for us! As a table of 7 she did a lot of running and she was great! We will definitely tell our friends and will be back there soon! ???????????????????????? Oh and kudos to Troy! ????????
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! The Irish burger on special was totally unique and delicious. Irish fish and chips was perfectly done, and seafood chowder right on the money. Coupled with fresh garden salads and a few pints of Guinness made a memorable Sunday afternoon. Cozy pub atmosphere and very friendly staff. I am making a point to stop by on a weekend night to check out the live entertainment. Certainly a hidden gem of the area.
