This is the place to go for something for everyone. Great Polish Food, Pub style menu items, Fair Foods and Pizza, Meatballs etc. They use old world recipes for their Haluska, Kaluski, Golumpki (Piggies). They also have a wide variety of Pierogi they will Deep fry or heat for you or you can order a dozen that is already cooked and frozen to heat and eat. When I was there, there was a stream of people coming in and ordering Hot food and tons of Frozen Pierogi. You can tell they were regulars but also anyone new that came in was welcomed like a long lost friend. Lisa was an owner and was greeting people and offering them a cold drink and asking if there is something they wanted to try.... When people were joking around, Lisa Joked right back making everyone enjoy their time there. Many people drove for many miles to get there. A must stop place. LOVED the Piggies and the Crispy Potato Pancakes. The Pagosh and of course the pizza! All so good. I've been there 6 times in 3 weeks! it's that good!

I'm a massive fan of any small place that straight up preps the food in the open, able to be seen by anyone walking in. Gives that vibe of nothing to hide, here's what we do. I've only been here a few times, but will most likely be increasing that number.

Of the menu I've mostly tried various pierogis, kielbasa, and a stromboli. I can't necessarily say anything was bad as much as not to my personal taste, but I can necessarily say that the vast majority of what I've tried I've devoured.

Of the pierogis, I've tried the 'classic' potato and cheese, cabbage, sauerkraut, and reuben. To be honest, the potato and cheese were good, but nothing outstanding. Getting to that cabbage and sauerkraut, definitely my personal tastes, I want to order them every time I visit. The reuben was a tease to me as I tried to find time to visit to try them, but found them a bit of a let down when I finally did. I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it needs some swiss cheese. If they do include it in there, I couldn't tell.

The stromboli I ordered was just shy of being a perfect dirty meal, but again, my personal tastes make me not call it perfect. Pretty sure they douse it in melted butter or something, and I'm not big on that kind of flavor, or that it also sogs up the crust pretty quick. Apart from that nitpick, it was a pretty great treat. I specifically asked for a small stromboli, and it still lasted me for about four meals. Can't exactly call that a negative there.

As a slight afterthought the kielbasa I ordered was pretty meh, prefer if it was a stick instead of small sliced rounds. Tasty enough, but nothing mind-blowing.

In short, worth the visit, worth trying out as much as you can over time, chances are you'll find things you get addicted to, even if some things might not be for you. I certainly plan on trying to find more time to go out of my way to visit here to keep trying new things. And of course for places such as this, always a good time just chatting it up with the people behind the counter.

Absolutely delicious food! Best variety of hand crafted pierogi! So many flavors to choose from. They have great weekly specials too. The Pickle pierogi and sliders are delicious! My favorite is deep fried pierogi and potato pancakes Big menu to choose from. Pizza and pagosh are outstanding as well. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend you stop in! You won’t be disappointed!

Polish and Italian based Food for the Soul. Truly our favorite place to visit. All food is made homemade with only the best ingredients. Different specials weekly and seasonal items as well. We are a little bias and like the potato and cheese pierogi's the best, but all of the pierogi's are great. The pizza is heavenly, and you won't be able to get enough of it! ***Reminder that they are a cash only business, but there is an ATM in store if needed. ***

The food here is phenomenal! The best pierogies in NEPA. Lisa's food is from her heart and soul.
