One of my two go-to Italian restaurants/pizzerias in the area. I generally start with the Garlic Boneless Wings, which are very good. The red Pizza is excellent, as are all of the Italian dishes that I have tried.
Great pizza, friendly staff & fast service! Probably the best pizza i've had in the scranton area!! Favorite place to go on my lunch break
..
This is a great place for pizza, but all of their food is delicious. They have a wide assortment of things on the menu, so it's sure to please everyone. We like to go with a group and have everyone order something different. Everything from pastas to salads to burgers to hoagies are great, plus everything is very reasonably priced. There's a bar side and a restaurant side as well. The restaurant side is very casual. I have always felt comfortable bringing kids and I've been going there since I was a kid. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait if it's very busy, but it depends on when you're there. Overall, I highly recommend!
We arrived at a hotel in the Scranton area about 30 minutes after the snow and sleet started to come down. We were on our way back to Florida after helping our son move into a new home and we were exhausted. We asked at the desk about places that would deliver to the hotel. The desk clerk offered a menu for Grande Family Restaurant and assured us they would deliver and the food was excellent. She was right! We called to order and at first there seemed to be some confusion about whether they would deliver to our hotel but they finally agreed to deliver our dinner, warning that it could be up to 90 minutes wait due to the weather and some road closings. A very friendly young man arrived about 75 minutes later, apologizing for the wait. It was worth it—the antipasto and pizza were fabulous! Really, the best take-out we have had and we do a fair amount of traveling. Thank you, Grande Family.
