We were making a one day marathon return trip from Groton, Massachusetts to North Carolina. We really needed a break. We certainly found a great one. Savory Maza welcomed us just in time. Not far off the interstate is this charming Lebanese restaurant. Prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious and authentic. The restaurant is run by the women of the family. Mama is an excellent cook, and daughter waits on table (.you can watch her eyes light up when you extend compliments to the chef). Whether you pick a lamb dish or one of a number of other Middle Eastern dishes. This place is really like an oasis in the desert!
Good food, nice place. Only one waitress though so service was kind of slow. A bit pricey but was a nice experience.
If middle eastern delicacies at their finest then Then Savory Maza is the place to in the Scranton area. There is none finer and its all homemade and cooked to order. Food at this restaurant is so fresh and delicious. Everything I ate was a taste treat. I enjoyed it so much. The restaurant is clean and attractive The owners are lovely people. I learned that on the weekend you need reservations because it’s so popular. I can’t wait to go back and take my family.

Just ate at this restaurant. The hummus was made to perfection, smooth with EVOO on top; served with super thin pita bread. The vegetarian kibble was delicious. The dough was mixed with butternut squash and very moist.
Wonderful food, great selection, reasonable prices and very warm hospitality. Quality ingredients, expertly prepared and very customer oriented. Well maintained facility. BYOB. Visited from out of town and highly recommend Savory Maza.
