My husband and I were celebrating our 24th anniversary. We decided to go to Cooper's Seafood restaurant. We have never been there before. We definitely made the right choice! We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was awesome! The memorabilia alone...you can spend hours just taking in everything.
The hostess was very nice. We had asked for a booth and as she was escorting us to our table...my husband I looked at each other... where is she taking us? It seemed like the place went on and on. Which was "way cool" all around us was a trip down memory lane! When we walked into the dining room it was amazing! We were in or of every nook and cranny. Even at our booth there was a fish tank! There is also deck dining outside on different levels. You can tell that the owner/owners put a lot of thought into the space and decor.
Our waitress Bonnie was wonderful! Great service! The FOOD! Every bite was delicious! For appetizers we had fried calamari and the best darn mussels (that really is the name of the dish) For the main meal...my husband had the Lobster Mac and Cheese. I had the the dish called... Just Seafood. Yummy! We definitely recommend for dessert the peanut butter pie... WOW! They had so many interesting dishes on the menu. It was so hard to choose. We wanted to order everything!
I didn't start off to write a novel. But, we can not say enough about Cooper's. We will definitely be dining there as often as we can. It's our new favorite place!
We already have raved about our experience to lots of friends/family and we are all planning to dine there soon.
Thank You so much to Cooper's, the hostess and our waitress Bonnie for making our Anniversary so special.

This was my favorite mother’s day and largely because of the fabulous experience we all had at Coopers. The nostalgic and unique memorabilia starts you off with a smile. The staff were friendly and accommodating: not in the gratuitous fashion but with a genuine pleasure in interacting with guests.
The wine list was wonderful and I found just what I liked.
We shared several appetizers; lobster stuffed mushrooms, calamari, crab dip, tuna and crab tower and a dozen oysters. I personally prefer calamari with tentacles but the rings were still cooked perfectly and the marinara impressive. I couldn’t say a bad word about the timing and quality and this was under the pressure of an extra full house on Mother’s Day.
The entree’s were cooked perfectly, the crab legs were cut to a manageable size and sourced from the best, most meat filled portions. My sons had the vodka sauce and we all tried it. Never had one as good before.
We shared deserts too and the key lime pie was literally the lightest, tastiest anyone in our party has ever had
We agreed, as “foodies” we’ve yet to have such an impressive meal that met every expectation and more with not a single thing to complain about.
And our server, Rebecca, was just as sweet and attentive as could be.
We love to travel and eat great food. We will make the hour plus drive again and again to have the pleasure of dining at Coopers. No wonder they’ve been around since the 40’s!

I was pleasantly surprised on how great this place was. The decor throughout the restaurant was entertaining and eye catching. The food was delicious and plenty. I never saw a baked potato that big in any restaurant in my life. My dad got the Friday seafood special, and again the food was plentiful and delicious. The price was very reasonable for all that you got. The staff was friendly and polite. We would definitely come here again if we are in the area.

Cooper's is very unique. What you first walk in you're greeted to a gift shop which has a wide selection of beer, toys, shirts, and "Office" related things. As you continue to walk you see so many pictures and old news paper articles. It's like being in a museum. The food is excellent particularly the seafood. I would recommend the crab bisque to start. The drink/beer list is very diverse and very good. I would highly recommend this place, whether it's to take the family, going with a group, or a date it's worth going.

Our experience at Coopers was absolutely fantastic! Morgan (our server) had great energy: delightful & professional with just the right amount of friendly. All the employees we talked to were helpful, friendly and enthusiastic about their employer (very telling when employees are happy where they work... when they are happy, your customers are more likely to be as well). Food was great and came out faster than expected. The place is clean, restrooms were very clean. We had steamed clams, the seafood platter, and dungeness crab. Cocktails were fun and very yummy. Love the gift shop (should have gotten a Ain't No Party Like A Scranton Party t shirt while there!) and the museum-feel of all the historic memorabilia on the walls is a really nice touch. The giant whale was a great! We were very impressed with your service and food and we'll definitely be back. The atmosphere in your establishment is fun and cozy at the same time. Can't wait for warm weather to eat on the deck outside! A personal note from Ryan thanking us the week after our first visit was really excellent customer service. Keep up the great work!
