Royal Buffet

Wide variety of fresh food. Both Asian and American cuisines. Not too expensive. Very friendly staff.

I have eaten here a few times. Food here is pretty good. They are usually quick to refill the pans of cooked food. They offer a sushi bar with a diverse selection. Unfortunately there is only one sushi chef. Thus the pans of rolls and nagiri runs out faster than the chef can refill the trays.

It was very good. It was jammed packed. So the food was constantly fresh.
I thought the ladies rest room was not clean enough. After washed my hands I looked up and noticed. The vents probably weren't cleaned in a good year. They were truly disgusting.
So that is why I gave a four out of five

I was a customer here when they first opened and over a period of time I saw a steady decline and I stopped going. I decided to try it today for a Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Food quality was brought to a higher standard than other buffets in the area. They're definitely back on the right track. My vegetarian wife was able to find enough selection where she was also satisfied. The only drawback was no crab legs but maybe due to being lunch and not dinner hours. Wait staff was expedient with quick drink refills and clearing away dishes from the table. When I'm ready to gorge myself again, this will be the spot.

UPDATED REVIEW 2/8/19 -- I returned back this evening expecting to have the same great experience as last time. Instead I was unpleasantly greeted at the door, servers didn't clean the table promptly so we could sit, and as far as the food, several key dishes were missing. There were no ribs, coconut shrimp, duck, and there wasn't a crab to be found, except for the crabby servers. What a major disappointment from last time.

It was good. Had a large variety for all tastes. The sushi was good. I wouldn't give it a 5 but definitely no less than 4. Mainly for it's age. Could use updating but technically who cares if there food is good. One issue I had was the salad. The lettuce was old. Otherwise everything was hot and fresh. Probably a snafu on the lettuce so they'll keep a solid 4!
