“My family went to Carmen's on December 23 for their Brunch. My wife and I where looking for a place that would have both great food and a nice atmosphere for Christmas. Unfortunately Carmen's did not live up to our expectations. While the old train station is still beautiful it is in need of some repairs. The antique style Santa Clause that is in front of the building looks like he can use a power washing. From my seat I could see poorly run wires and plaster patches on the walls. While the building was decorated for Christmas there was no music to set the mood, live or recorded, which was a truly disappointing considering they have a baby grand piano. The Food quality was good however it was lukewarm at best this includes the gravy for the turkey and mashed potatoes. I kept looking for a microwave to heat my food. My son's girlfriend enjoyed her fresh omelet and the turkey was not bad but I have had better at other carving stations. The Bacon was cheap restaurant quality that was lacking in taste. I will admit that they had a great desert area and the service from the staff was amazing! Over all the place was nice. Actually the quality of the service is what earned them a third star! Would I go back? Maybe. I must admit that there are better brunch options, in the same price range, in Scranton that I would chose to visit first.”

Just be sure to tell them e-v-e-r-y thing you want on that sandwich because if you don't tell them, it won't be on! My love forgot to tell them mayonnaise & at first bite, I knew he forgot! “I love how fast service is, especially take out. When I order during the week the wait is usually 15 or 20 minutes. During the weekend when they seem busier I'm usually told 30 minutes but considering the other pizza places in town always say 45 minutes to an hour I love that I can get my food so much quicker there. It's always hot and correct and it doesn't take long at all. I can call on my way home and it's ready when I get there.”
