Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Dim lighting made it very romantic and intimate.

We had such a lovely belated Mothers Day celebration there with family and friend.
The decor is wonderful, seating comfortable and plentiful, staff is knowledgeable and nice. Their sommelier came and chatted with us, he's so generous with his experiences and clearly loves his job. We are vegetarian, had 7 small plates plus dessert shared between the 4 of us we all left full and blissed out on the flavors, freshness and overall experience. My draft beer was unique and excellent, my friend's martini was similarly wonderful. My mom and daughter did not imbibe. 5 stars all around. This will be a regular haunt for us from now on!

We visited Alter House today in Clark's Summit. The design of the restaurant is flawless with incredible attention to every detail. Just walking into the restaurant we were lured in by the amazing aroma of food. We sat down with Chef Michael Langdon to talk about the restaurant. They seem to have a great recipe of caring owners, a creative and talented chef coupled with a beautifully designed setting. I highly recommend checking it out for sure.

We visited Alter House last week for the first time on a recommendation from a friend, and we were thrilled with our visit. We were happily greeted at the door and promptly seated. The wait-staff and hostesses were incredible and the food was even better. It's definitely higher end in terms of price for the area, but the service, food, and atmosphere makes the higher price tab well worth it. We can't wait to go back!
