Great place great food great service. Always remember coming here for steak sandwiches before going out on the river fishing with my dad. Still a great place.

I love their cheese steak sandwiches. I add lettuce, tomatoes and raw onions. It had a very fresh roll, the steak meat was tender ( no gristle or fat) and the sauce was just the finishing touch. The sweet potato fries are great. Top your meal off with a fountain soda with a splash of flavor (we add vanilla).
This is not a fancy place however I highly recommend it for a steak sandwich!

I went out of town to enjoy some time with the boys and one of them recommend Mr.Joe's as a long time favorite of his. To be honest its an old fashioned representation of what Pennsylvania is about and I have no real issues with that. The stool chairs are absolutely fun to spin around on and its great to still see spinning stool tops with how smooth those bearings are. The only issue I have is the quality of the food and yes this would be a 4 star place had the food quality been on point. I had their cheese steak and it tasted over cooked and bland. You could tell that meat was sitting there for a while and it wasn't a good after taste. The place has a lot of potential and a lot of opportunities to adapt I just wish the quality was the primary focus instead of the aesthetics of the building.
