Thank you to whoever is responsible for the renovations and expansion. Very pleasant breakfast experience due to the friendliness of the staff. Can't wait for the sofa fountain to open!
This is a ver nice little restaurant with good food for a really good price.
We came in to town a few years back to go to the Watch Museum. We then asked an employee there, if there was a local place he could recommend to eat at. He said Hinkles.
My father was a pharmacist, so I thought it was cool they still had an older pharmacy and diner together. To my surprise, the food was great. They have the best breaded Buffalo chicken wrap in my opinion. Long story short, everytime I pass by Columbia, I always order the Buffalo chicken wrap. Eventually Hinkles totally updated the restaurant and it looks very nice. Attached to a nice gift store too. Definitely worth a visit.
Hinkle's is a cute family friendly restaurant. They have lots of booths for comfortable seating and the staff is friendly. There is also a cute gift shop attached which is accessible from the restaurant itself. The food here is fairly good, I would compare it to diner food. The atmosphere is good and reminds me of a country diner, although they are currently in the process of doing renovations so that may change. I do wish that they were open a little later though. Aside from that this is a good restaurant that I recommend trying.
I stop in at Hinkle's for breakfast or lunch whenever I am on a antique-hunting trip to Columbia, Pennsylvania. The home-style food is very good, the prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly. If you can't find street parking, there is a lot in back of the restaurant. Hinkle's is a great alternative to the chain restaurants. I especially recommend the restaurant if you are a visitor to the town.
