Union Barrel Works

While the food, drinks and space are great, I want to highlight how wonderful the staff is. Our group has shown up with as many as twenty people on some random slow days. Even when our folks forgot to alert the staff to our plans, they were extremely gracious and patient with us. They are attentive and friendly in all our interactions. I'm glad to go and look forward to the next time!

The food was very good... Service A+.. Waitress was very good and nice.. Didn't wait long at all for food... Very clean and well mannered.. Serves Pa alcohol and beer.. Home brewed. This establishment is for Pa... Loved it... One more thing family friendly..???????????????? #localspot

New favorite. I went here for the first time last night and honesty can't wait to go back.

Note that new ownership took over 7/2018 and from what i learned made a ton of changes and improvements so go back and try them again!

Laid back and friendly service was apparent from the first second. Then the atmosphere was great, old antique brewery with antique photos, beer bottles and brewing tools. Centered is their own brewing equipment which is always cool to see. Perfect for families with children for many reasons, one being she brought out crayons, stickers and a full coloring book.
Then the food and drinks.... Amazing. Simply amazing. From the samples of their own house made brews to the appetizers then the main meal, no complaint from us or our friends (4 adults in all). There's a special attention to handmade details here. House brewed beer, in-house hand cut fries, house made mustard, house made dressings and so on. So many items were made in house!
Food was presented well, prices were impressive and the quality was more than ideal.

Can't say enough positive about this place.

Had a good time. Tried about four beers. Each one was great. Very quaint place. The bartender or server was really nice. Had their special sandwich of the day with their homemade chips. Both were excellent, very tasty. This is not a large place but has a nice size bar. So don't miss this place while in Pottstown.
