(May 11, 2019, 9:35 pm)I was not thrilled by the stromboli I ordered in as much as the price / taste ratio was off.
It wasn't horrible, but it certainly was not a anywhere NEAR the best I've ever had at a local independent place. The sauce tasted like it was premade, the utensils useless for cutting / eating the boli, they asked if I was eating it there or taking it out but they still gave it to me in takeout box ????, I wasn't asked / reminded of wanting a drink (especially since I was eating it there).
The paper under the boli (which became part of it as it was cut and eaten) was indistinguishable from the boli itself in taste but it was definitely more tender than the boli's bottom. I was also a little surprised by being charged $6 to $7 more than the stated price. This place has changed over the past years. There are better local pizzarias in the area that deliver.
BTW, the picture is of 3 inches of one of the ends of the boli which is dough only. -
