When we want comfort food, we go to Soul Restaurant. My family loves the fried fish, collards, macaroni and cheese (real macaroni and cheese...the way it's supposed to be), smothered pork chops and black eyed peas. But truth be known, we never had a dish at Soul Restaurant we didn't enjoy fully. It's also a very friendly and hospitable place...you feel like you're eating home cooking in a friend's kitchen. Very enjoyable!

Now that is soul food done just right!! The collard greens And black eye peas cooked and seasoned with love. The fried chicken and fish moist, breaded and fried just right.
The owners and locals eating in the restaurant are friendly and the gospel music so sweet just like the lemonade and iced tea. Order the Sample plate and get 2 fried chicken and 2 fried fish with you choice of 2 sides for $11 bucks can't go wrong and guarantee to fill you up!

We're from Jersey, and finally have a place that can cook Soulfood! ! The place is a nice spot to sit and eat. The owners are so nice, and treat everyone like Family. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Make sure you ask for your cornbread, it's an inside joke with the Owners and myself. Just try them you'll love it
