Gypsy Kitchen

We had a truly wonderful time last night with family. Food was exceptional and atmosphere is fantastic. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!!

Being that it's not in a traditional restaurant environment, I worry Gypsy Kitchen sometimes gets overlooked. That is to the loss of anyone who overlooks it. Their weekend evening dinners are a date destination. I had the Prime Rib and it's one of the best Prime Ribs I've ever had. Ever.

The chef was attentive to our table, coming personally to each table. He also happens to be the owner, so you know his care and concern that you truly enjoy your meal is as genuine as it can be.

As an added bonus, I like a BYOB place for a nice dinner. I can focus the money on the food they are preparing and the tip to the wait staff who is serving me. AND I can get a higher price point wine to enjoy with my excellent meal. There was nothing on my plate that disappointed, and looking at the menu ahead of time allowed our table to bring 3 or 4 bottles of wine that would pair perfectly with our anticipated order.

Don't sleep on Gypsy Kitchen. This should be near the top of your list if you haven't yet tried them.

Interesting place for lunch that no one knows about, across from Franklin Marshall in the Theological Seminary. Good food, not expensive and interesting crowd.

My husband and I have been to Gypsy Kitchen together twice over the last couple of years. They have the best servers the owners are cooking and make it all so wonderful! They are welcoming and the food is the best. You must make reservations and BYOB one of the best in Lancaster!

This is a very unique eating option. There will only be 2 or 3 choices on the menu but it changes every day and is always excellent gourmet-quality food at a decent price in a old-church-like atmosphere.
