401 Prime

401 Prime has an excellent happy hour in the lounge area! The espresso martini (especially the salted caramel one) is absolutely phenomenal and they make a very good aperol spritz! Their Mac and cheese is also fantastic and their lounge menu options are 50% off during happy hour which is a great deal. The service was phenomenal and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality happy hour in Lancaster!

I had the pleasure of visiting this fine dining Steakhouse in Lancaster for a date night with my girlfriend. The atmosphere was amazing, the service was impeccable, but the entrées/sides leaves something to be desire.

To start, our dinner began with the Miso cut Bacon as an appetizers which was beautifully smoked, the taste was phenomenal, and the presentation was amazing. We then ordered Entrées. I was looking to "tantalize" my palette with 401's 14 oz. Dry aged New York Strip with some of 401's steak sauce, and a side of the Parmesan Vegetable Risotto. When the meal came, I was taken back by the look of the risotto. The risotto was clumpy and bland with no hint of parmesan being used. The steak was cooked perfectly to what I asked for and the sear on it was great. The major problem was that it also was bland in terms of it's seasoning choice. The only thing that I could taste was salt. I tried to remedy the salty and bland taste of the steak with the steak sauce and I was confused on if I got steak sauce or cocktail sauce. The sauce was very forthright with horseradish and off putting. Overall, my entree was very disappointing seeing that I was going to be spending over 83 dollars for chunky and bland risotto that Gordon Ramsey would shake his head at and a steak I would expect from Longhorn Steakhouse.

To finish out the night however, our dessert was phenomenal and delightfully refreshing. We ordered the Chocolate Chambord Truffles. I was thrown back by how fresh the fruit was, how delicious the chocolate was, and the overall presentation was top notch. My experience for this restaurant was generally a good experience, however, I believe that the "tantalizing" entrées could use some work.

Such an amazing experience. The service was beyond amazing. The atmosphere was inviting, modern and relaxed. The food was very good with only one suggestion, they use a lot of salt on their meat. Might want to scale that back. Must try the Miso Bacon, Risotto and Apricot Margarita. Highly recommend them.

My daughters 22nd birthday. Found out they have private rooms🤗.
My wife and I went in and decorated the room and brought in our own small cake. All the staff was so helpful and responsive.
The room was well lit, Kay was our server for the evening amazing and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
Plenty of drink and food items to choose from on the menu.
Food came out at the right time hot and delicious.
Night was amazing and we would definitely go back and tell friends.
We did find parking right out front.

The food and service at 401 Prime was exceptional. Our server Corey A was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcomed. We went there for our anniversary dinner and he made it very special. The crab cake is definitely a must try and honestly EVERY restaurant should take a lesson from them on how to make crab cakes. When I'm back in the area it will definitely be a stop on the list.
