Subway

Had an awesome visit. The young man Steven was new and working by himself because people called out. Even tho he was nervous he kept the line moving and stayed professional..

My friends & I ate at the Subway on Earth King St Lancaster yesterday afternoon. I would like to commend Derrick on the way he handled himself in what would have been an issue for most people, especially young people. It turns out that Derrick is the only employee in a busy downtown store. He remained calm and did his job from taking customers' orders, to making the sandwich, to ringing up the sale. It did not seem to rattle him that people were waiting. Thankfully, people were patient & didn't complain. Again, kudos to Derrick for a job well done, under extreme circumstances. I also understand that Derrick has not been employed at Subway for very long. He truly deserves something extra special for doing so well.
One criticism.....by law, Derrick was entitled to a break which I'd bet he never got. Don't know if he even got a lunch break. I would not want to.see him in this situation again. It was unfair to him. If people are committed to.showing up for work, they need to do.just that....SHOW UP!
Please recognize Derrick for his stoicism.

It's Subway... what is there to write? The staff here is great. The food is... exactly the same as every Subway.
