Tsunami Express

Great sushi and nice people. Everything was so fresh.

This place is one of the hidden gems of Lancaster. Tsunami Express is my go-to for fresh and delicious sushi. I've tried many places locally and this one is definitely the best. It may not look like a fancy restuarant, but the warm and friendly atmosphere comes from the sushi chefs.

My first experience with this place... and I am beyond impressed. Sad to see Fractured Prune is no longer at this location, but SO HAPPY that this place is there now. Ordered about 7 rolls to go, took them less than 15 minutes, prepared perfectly with lots of soy sauce and wasabi. I even briefly mentioned I'd be eating the spicy tuna roll on my bus ride home and they placed it on top, with an individual soy sauce inside, napkins and chop sticks in the bag... How considerate! Will definitely be recommending and returning soon! PS place is clean, lots of seating for dining in, FRESH AND VERY DELICIOUS SUSHI!

I live right down the street and I'm so glad I do. I've tried a lot of sushi place in the area and Tsunami has continued to have the best quality fish. I've left my other establishments and now stick to just Tsunami. The quality of the fish is so good that it melts in your mouth. Not what you would expect from the outside, but it's what you want.

Don't let the Bruno signs fool you. They serve excellent sahimi and a great autumn roll featuring several fish on the menu. The quality of the fish was fresh and delicious. Also enjoyed the pork dumplings that were cooked with a perfect amount of char and seasoned well. The staff are friendly and professional. Looking forward to trying Tsunami again.
