When I tell you you will absolutely love this place. You have to experience it to believe me!! The ambiance is very welcoming and relaxing. The food is excellent. I had the Big Dog brisket sandwich. PERFECTION!! Cooked and prepared perfectly. I'm not a beer drinker. Their beer is awesome! The staff was very friendly and attentive. All around, I loved it! Go check them out if you're ever in the area. Awesome experience, food, beer, and the people. 👌🏿

Stumbled on this place by accident. It's in the former Isaac's Deli spot in the shopping strip behind Chili's on Manheim Pike. Had no idea it was there and didn't know it was a restaurant from the outside. I had the meat lover's pizza and my wife had the brisket tacos. We both had the mango beer. Being a weeknight and with things still on our agenda, we appreciated the 4.7 alcohol content and nice summer flavor. Pizza was very good. My wife's brisket tacos were stuffed (good) but the corn taco was soggy (bad), but overall she seemed to enjoy them. Food overall was very good. Service was decent. (Follow up to check on the meal was a bit slow) Would like to return and try other beers and other food selections. Interior deco left something to be desired. Because it was a former Isaac's, the interior structure is interesting, but so much more could be done with it. Walls were tan bland with no pictures, art etc. We're from East Pete and our measuring stick is Mad Chef. A good restaurant is the whole package: food service, ambience and decor. This place is good (a solid addition to our bar food repertoire) and we'll be back, but they need to advertise and take the interior up a notch.

Big Dog is an unassuming gem! Thoughtful variety of beers along with awesome food. I sampled a flight with IPAs, Milk Stout and Red Willy. We ate fried shrimp with Thai chili sauce, big pretzel, and Hawaiian pizza - great pairings for the brews we sampled!
My only advice - can your beers and ship them to Pittsburgh! Cheers!

1st time here, I am aware of this place from shopping at Lancaster home brew a couple doors up. Great service from the moment we walked in the door, we were told to pick our own seat, which was a table pushed up near the bar. We got menus and were given a chance to look over the beer choices and ordered our beers. I had an IPA and the wife ordered a nitro porter. Menu was small, but everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked very good. We started with a crab dip and pitas bread, which was very good. We then ordered a giant soft pretzel that came with mustard that was also very good. I wish it had come with a beer cheese. Service was excellent and I want to go back and get a sandwich next time. This place checked all our boxes, great service, great beer, good food, reasonable prices, and very clean. Definitely recommend
