Bistro 2two2

So happy to have something fresh in this space. The martini is every bit as good as The Belvedere if not quite as large. Food and atmosphere and service as on point as places half a mile away downtown but parking is much better. This place is going in my heavy rotation for happy hour and lunches. Hotel restaurants and bars are usually lacking half a step. I did not find that to be the case here.

Loved my stay at the Eden Resort. Traveling solo, I dined at Bistro 2two2 on 2 nights as the menu had so many things to offer. Food was great. The bartenders, Bobby and Eric were terrific, friendly and made me feel very comfortable dining at the bar. Looking forward to going back soon.

The outdoor patio adds to the resort in such a big way. They have lots of greenery and flowers that create a tropical oasis. They’re menu has great variety and service was fantastic!

We love staying at the Eden hotel. We’ve been coming for the last four years with our three children. We decided to try their new restaurant Bistro 2two2 today.

The food that we ordered was really good and tasty. My kids ordered chicken tenders with fries and grilled chicken with a side salad off the kids menu. My husband and I ordered the pizza Classico and a Greek chopped salad which we enjoyed. The pizza was large enough to share with our children. The food came out quickly enough too.

However, we did not appreciate how our waitress served us. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she was overwhelmed with the three tables she was waiting on. As we were ordering our food, she was making weird faces like she was grossed out by what we were ordering. That was just a minor thing that we found interesting. What really struck us was that about 10 minutes after we got our food, and all of our plates still had food on them as we were in the middle of eating, she came over and said “how many boxes should I bring you?” My husband and I looked confused because we weren’t done. She said “ok, I’ll bring you two boxes.” She came with the two boxes and said “I’ll come back and clean when you put the food in boxes.” We felt very rushed and confused why she was in such a rush for us to leave. Our children were not loud, but instead sitting quietly, eating their food and watching videos on their phones. We decided to just put the food in the boxes she brought and leave. She brought the check immediately and said “I’m not rushing you.” I told her that she was and that she also added an extra salad on our check, which she did take out.” She then made sure she took the tip which we left in cash.

Basically, the food is good but the staff needs to be friendlier, don’t criticize their customers order, and don’t rush us out when we are in the middle of our meal.

This restaurant did not really live up to the Garfield’s standard in my opinion. The food was pretty good but the pricing is horrendous. $17 for a spicy chicken sandwich is crazy. Our waitress was nice enough but I genuinely think she forgot about us a few times. We asked for something simple 3 times and it didn’t get to us until after our food was out, the appetizer came out with our entree, and the menu options are slim/odd. It’s ok to try once but I wouldn’t go again. Very nice decor and entry way.
