The Market at Oregon Dairy

Stopped here for dinner. Food was just okay. Ice cream, however, was superb. Easily some of the best ice cream we've eaten anywhere in the U.S. Service was wonderful. Our waitress was so kind, and even brought me a sample when I was having trouble picking what to have for dessert. I also loved the view of the countryside and had fun feeding the baby goats!

The grocery has a large variety of items. Best known for produce, dairy, fresh meats and bakery. It is attached to a large restaurant that is very popular. They have generous servings and are open for breakfast lunch and dinner.
It also has a creamery and playground. Adjacent to the playground is a paddock with deer, including an albino. Very nice place. Try to visit during farm days in June.

My family loves the Oregon Dairy. You can make a whole afternoon of it. There is a great play area for the kids featuring creative farm inspired play equipment. Next to the play area is an ice cream shop with delicious dairy fresh ice cream. There is also a restaurant, supermarket and a petting zoo. This is a great place to take the family. I guarantee it will be a good time for all.

What a wonderful store. Lovely country gift shop... Wonderful baked goods, take home ready soups and salads. So much to choose from.aisles of good deals and a great selection. Stop in Oregon dairy for an amazing lunch and top it off with homemade ice cream at the connecting parlor. Check out the petting zoo. Great family place!

Oregon Dairy is a Lancaster legend, with market, restaurant and creamery side by side. This grocery store is super friendly and helpful, with very knowledgeable butcher staff. (Seriously, ask them anything.)

Pro tip: try their fresh butcher meats, especially the thick-cut bacon. It's worth the price, and you won't be disappointed.
I agree with some reviewers who said they perceive some prices to be a bit high. I just watch for specials.

I've seen the store manager running register, greeting guests and helping them find things in the aisle, and even bagging groceries. That's the way to know what's going on in the store, and good Management shows.

Loyal customers love the place. I would go more often but they don't have some of the things I buy weekly. Still, it's closer to home than Giant, so it's my go-to for in-between grocery trips and nice meats.
