Great friendly service for our upstairs gathering of family and friends for a Birthday party. Apps and drinks were well prepared and very reasonably priced. I had not been there for years. Will definitely be back!!!
We ordered take out on a Sunday night. Although it’s been a good four years since we’ve visited the Cats we were surprised at the drastic change from casual fine dining to a dive bar. But maybe that’s just how they roll at 8p on the Sabbath these days. There was a DJ and we felt pummeled by the very loud music. Anyway about the food, overall it was only mediocre. The wings were hard and chewy. We got 3 appetizers: bacon wrapped scallops, calamari, spicy zingers. The scallops were very good, but forget the rest. The salads we got were good but not great. Overall it was a big disappointment.
We had a nice lunch. Our server was courteous and came back to check on us several times. Food was tasty. The French onion soup was very good. My only concern was the server serving from across the table reaching in over the other guests. She also cleared the plates the same way.
I’m not sure how I have never been to this restaurant but it was worth the trip. Roaring 20’s accents help make the ambiance feel special but the food is the showstopper. The pasta was done to perfection, the fries are homemade, and the desserts are to die for. Although it may not be the best place for a super romantic date night due to limited private seating. You can definitely have a great time with family and friends.
This was a random lunch out with my dad as we were driving through town and I had very low expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised! He had a burger and I had a salad with chicken. Both were excellently prepared! Their lunch specials made this an inexpensive lunch but they know their clients because they were clearly busy. The main restaurant was full and service was excellent!
