It was very relaxed, maybe around 2-3 pm, my self and a friend stopped in to a very clean, polite service as our waitress was very attentive and polite as well as she dressed very appropriate and her manners were amazing, the food was amazing and the drinks were strong. I will come again and I reccomend this to everyone. Thank you.

Sleepy little Mount Joy is the perfect place for a sleepy little pub. I tried this place with a friend on a Monday just before noon & we were the first customers to arrive. Others trickled in as we were well into our meal. Normally I take an empty parking lot an hour after opening as a bad sign for a restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised.

The dining room & bar offer an assortment of daily specials, some overlapping & others separate. Monday is Wing Day in both. With a score of sauces to choose from, we ordered 4 dozen to get variety and planned for leftovers. (The special is dine-in only, but there is no rule against a doggy bag.) The wings themselves are $6/meaty dozen. We skipped the celery & blue cheese to save a couple bucks, which went to fund $2 Yingling drafts instead.

Some of the sauces are commercially produced. But our favorite that we tried was the house-made honey barbecue. The base is a molasses-forward, smokey flavor that gets a nice pop from the addition of honey. The honey mustard was insanely creamy; I am inclined to think it's due to a mayonnaise base. That was just too rich for our tastes. The sweet chili & bourbon sauces are better quality commercial products. We will probably try some different flavors next time, but we will definitely get more honey barbecue.

As for when we will be back, I imagine it will be in less than a month. Whether it is for wings again or one of their other reasonably priced specials, only time will tell.

My dinner tonight was out of this world. Delmonico steak that was just perfect. Great job cook. Waitress was wonderful also. Very pleasant and just professional and courteous. Great place to get a great meal

Solid value in Mt Joy. Moderately upscale restaurant with lots of interesting specials and often local ingredients. We almost always share their Captains Seafood Platter which is plenty for two. The bar side is not so upscale but a decent spot for football and beer. Look for coupons or download their app for plenty of discounts.
