The Palate restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It's got a homey feel about it, & the staff were all very kind & helpful. It was handicap accessible & roomy. My partner & I ordered roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer, & they were absolutely delicious!!
The restaurant allows you to BYOB, so we took a bottle of wine with us, which the waitress opened & poured for us. My partner ordered a Cuban & I ordered a burger with goat cheese and sauteed mushrooms. Both sandwiches were amazing!! Their menu has something for everyone. They also have entree specials. They use only quality ingredients, & we everything is fresh. We also split a milkshake for dessert. The shake was a
chocolate shake & it had a malted taste to it & it wasn't overly sweet. It was one of the best milkshakes I've had in a long while. The restaurant is good for families, couples, singles, & groups. Their prices are reasonable.
didn't even know this was here! great little restaurant, the parmesan crusted bacon mac and cheese is to die for! they make a good Cuban sandwich too and the almond cream soda is yummy. service was pretty slow even though there weren't many tables. it's a little pricey for the area but it's definitely one I can't wait to try again!
It doesn't look like much on the outside, being part of an ancient strip mall, but the interior has a rural homey vibe. The menu has some old favorites and a few rare/unique items. The food was delicious and staff was friendly. BYOB with a State Store conveniently next door.
Like always very good food. Friendly and fast service. Wish their menu was larger but the specials is what makes this restaurant. They are a BYOB restaurant with a state store next door...
We almost walked away from this place. The outside of the building belies the quality of the food. Which was very good and the flavors unique. This is far better than standard chain restaurant fare. I'm very glad we did not walk away! Highly recommended.
