The Shanty On 19th

I've visited The Shanty for both lunch and dinner. The food was fresh, excellently cooked and presented. The service was also friendly, accurate and timely. For dinner I had the scallops and they were cooked to perfection. There is nothing more satisfying than a fresh scallop that hasn't been over cooked! During lunch I had a black and blue burger and they accommodated my no carb request happily by providing butter green lettuce to wrap my burger and fresh grilled vegetables instead of fries. I will be back!

Chef Gordon Ramsay really did an awesome job turning this bistro around. The service and food was excellent. Plan to return in the future and hopefully meet Chef Kennedy. The pork tenderloin wrapped
in bacon was delicious and the boom boom shrimp appetizer was also a greater starter. I highly
recommend this eatery as being one of the best in the Lehigh Valley. Good luck to the entire staff and
continue to keep up with what your doing.
Second visit to the Shanty was another great experience. The crab cakes were delicious and again the service was outstanding. Really enjoyed chatting with Joe the owner. Definitely will go back again when in
the area.

I would highly recommend. This is by far one of the best places I've ever been too. From the pleasant greeting when entering to the incredible service throughout. I had Christine recommend a dish and was very satisfied with selection. Owner was present and made sure we were taken care of , again class act. I'm one of the top 3% on open table so take my words The Shanty on 19th is the real deal. I would recommend something, but everything was fabulous.

We just had Sunday brunch at the Shanty. It was excellent! The place looks incredible, was very clean with fast service. The Eggs Benny was awesome! We really hope people give this place another chance.
