Dickeys Barbecue Pit

Food was good! I came in with my children who were so excited for ice cream. After they ate we went to get some. It was 8:08 when we finished...(they are opened until 9) We were told the ice cream was cleaned out. If it was cleaned while we were there why wouldn't you wait until we were done OR give us heads up.

Had an delicious catered meal from Dickey's! The potato casserole was excellent as was the pulled pork. The spicy sausage was quite different and tasty. Terrific staff that put together this meal. Would definitely recommend if you want to offer some great BBQ to your family or work group.

Surprisingly good barbecue, from a chain in a strip mall! I do recommend getting buns from the supermarket to put the meat on to make your own sandwiches. And I would avoid the desserts....

This is a fun place to go to they give you free ice cream and you get to label your own barbecue sauce. It's a little pricey but it's fair for what you get. One tip I will give you if you want the beef brisket you must ask for it in slices or they will just give you shredded beef brisket. You never leave their hungry. The food is decent I wish it had a little bit more of a smoky taste to it but that's just my thoughts the food is good however.

I visited here with a guest 30 minutes before closing. The very youthful staff gave us excellent service and encouraged us to take our time and not to rush. They also gave us lots of good suggestions on what was good on our first visit there.
Even though I'm sure they were finishing up for the night all of the food was fresh and hot and didn't taste like it had been thrown back into the microwave like many restaurants would do at such a late hour.
When we left, several of the crew invited us back soon. We'll be back again for tasty barbecue, sides, and hospitality.
