Notch Modern Kitchen & Bar

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The food had flavor and a wide variety. We were a party of 20 and our waiter was not able to handle that many, maybe being a new place. Our food was cold and it took time to get drinks. I would go back after some experience has been gained by the servers.

Really enjoyed this place. The food was fantastic, our server knowledgeable and we'll trained! We got the sticky ribs, mussels for appetizers. We split the pad Thai Viet style and a dessert which I can't recall the name exactly. All very good

Excellent first experience at this top notch happy hour and restaurant! Maddie, Lucas, and Josh were superb bartenders! We felt so welcomed as new customers. They knew the menu very well and suggested excellent food choices that we absolutely loved! The Notch wings and Sweet Potato Dumplings were outstanding! And our Old Fashion Drinks and Dirty Martinis were so smooth and absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this amazing new place! Beautiful bar area too!

My wife and I went here on Friday night for dinner and drinks with another couple. We had Stephanie as our server and she was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick out some great cocktails and appetizers. The delicious food and friendly staff made this a great night. We will definitely be going back soon.

After reading all the negative reviews about this NEW place that opened in Allentown, a friend and I stopped in to see how it was.

First it a beautiful restaurant and and very pretty, with a nice big porch in the front. We sat at the bar and Steve and, another bartender, but I can't remember his name, sorry, were very nice and attentive. My friend couldn't decide on what to drink, so he came up with his own crafted martini for her. I had the pear martini, which sounds basic, but it was perfectly made, and crisp.

Now the food was okay, but that it to be somewhat expected of a new restaurant. We had the ribs and the pork dumplings. Our apps were a little salty, but the burger was amazing. It was perfectly cooked and all the flavors came together perfectly.

Having said all that, I will definitely give this place another try, because it's a NEW restaurant and reviews should not be based on FIRST time experience. The bartenders were great, the service was attentive and super friendly. It has a great vibe and it's a nice addition to Allentown. Yes there are things that should be worked on and I'm sure some kinks to be ironed out but that comes with time.
