“Great place to grab a bite. Food is flavorful and service was friendly. They are reasonably priced (almost too much so) especially with the rising cost of takeout these days. You get a lot of food for your money here. The only reason I’m giving atmosphere 4 stars is because of the lack of parking and there’s not that many seats for dining in. But most people take their food to go and whenever I’ve visited I usually have no trouble finding a seat (though as word gets out about this place that may not be the case for long). Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.”

“I visited this place on Sunday, and it was pretty busy. The space inside is limited, with just a few tables, making it ideal for a quick bowl or smoothie or for takeout. The quality of the products is excellent, consistent with other Playa Bowls I’ve visited before. It’s great to have one in this area. They offer healthy açaí bowls with various blends including banana and mango, along with a wide variety of smoothies, juices, energy drinks, and more. The staff is still ironing out some operational issues. It took about 10-15 minutes to get our smoothies, but I’m confident that once they smooth out these initial kinks, this will be a fantastic spot to frequent. If you want a healthy alternative to fast food or just a freshening snack checkout playa bowls.”

“Before I rate this, I would like to say I'm a real Jamaican, and from NYC, so I know flavors. I've had 3 separate dishes from them, and I must say the food definitely is good. The flavors are consistent, but the portions of what you get for the high price does not match. You get WAY more sides then you do, let's say the fried whiting, and fried Turkey wings. So they need to put more protein portions in the plates to match the amount of sides, or lower the price with a little less sides. After all, we're paying for the fish, ribs, turkey etc, not the sides. But other than that. The food and service is good. In the following pictures you can see how much sides is left after sparingly eating only 2 the wings. Same went for only 2 pieces of fish and ribs.”

“Great service, but food was just ok. The calamari was not good. Tasted like the kind you buy in the frozen section. The empanada trio app, only the beef was good. The chicken empanada was very dry and the seasoning was not good. The cheese empanada tasted kind of waxy. For entrée, the shrimp with garlic sauce was ok. The sauce was on the salty side, but the tostones didnt have any salt so it balanced out. The tacos mariachi with beef & shrimp were good. The chicken one was dry.”

“Went there last night with friends. We were looking for a different place but glad I discovered this gem. 3$ taco Wednesday was the special. The tacos were so good. Actual steak and chicken rather than ground meat. They were well prepared and the price was very reasonable. Server was very nice and the patio was clean . I definitely will be coming back and I highly recommend it”
