Nagoya Buffet

Very good food friendly employees. I wish the buffet was bigger like graces. I'm four hours away. I don't go there very often

Some of the food could have been hotter than just warm. Needs to be more attentive than what they do. Otherwise it's a good place.

I'm only rating 3 stars because the people I was with enjoyed the food, the waitress was excellent and the hibachi was pretty tasty.

That being said, I was not impressed with this restaurant and don't think I'll be returning. We were there for an hour, perhaps longer, and not once did I see any staff bring fresh food out to the buffet bars to refill things that were empty. The wonton soup was empty when we arrived, and was still empty when we left. The shrimp skewers were dry and tasteless. The crab legs (which I refused to even try) were kind of yucky looking and soaking in hot water. They were supposed to be steamed, not soaked to death. The hibachi was delicious, however, I have never been to any Chinese restaurant with a hibachi grill that you had to leave your plate and walk away; they always have you stand in line to wait your turn. Tasty, yes. Conventional, not so much.

I also had the displeasure of having to use the restroom, which was not well-lit, nor very clean. In the stall I used, there was a note on the wall to not flush anything down the toilet and if you did, to flush twice. Um, what??? So I followed the directions and flushed twice since I only used toilet paper. It didn't flush at all really, and the third time I flushed, something floated into the toilet from God knows where, but that was enough for me to turn my stomach.

I don't recommend this place personally, however, the people I was there with liked most of the food, including the sushi, and my rating reflects their experience too, not just my own. I'd rate it 1.5 stars, just for the hibachi.
