Wife and I went for the first time because they have beef Wellington. The place is cute and nicely decorated. the wait staff is very attentive. The wife got the Mulligatawny soup which was very good a little on the sour vinegary side but overall was good, I got the English style Sausage rolls, it tolerable but nothing to write home about. For our mains wife got the pastrami Reuben sandwich with house made chips, the Reuben was good meat was little tough to bite through, the chips were too thick and overly seasoned, I got the beef Wellington comes with dauphonoise potatoes and green beans, both sides lacked flavored the beef welling ton was tender and decent enough to get again ( mainly because its the only place that I know of that even has beef Wellington) other than that it was and. Ok experience....
We ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and they were basically the only subpar thing about our entire experience. They weren’t bad but they also weren’t that good. The entrees, though, were INCREDIBLE. The Forager’s Pie and the Beef Wellington were two of the best meals we’ve had in quite a long time. The cocktails are very tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is perfect and the service was great. We will be back :)
This place has limited seating that we saw and does not take reservations, plan ahead. That said, the food was phenomenal and the atmosphere very cozy. Service was very quick and I felt like the had a solid chose of food options. You won't leave hungry and the attention to detail in the dishes, like the dough goose on the beef wellington, is a top notch extra. All things said, this is a great place for dinner with friends or your spouse. Will visit again.
GREAT food! The menu is not long but everything looks appetizing and high quality, at reasonable prices. I hope to make it back many times to try everything. The cocktail menu was excellent, with a variety of interesting options. Service was a little slow, but the place is still new and they might still be adjusting to dealing with large crowds. Also, they were sold out of a few dishes and desserts when we came, which was around 7pm on a Saturday.
