Talbot's Taproom & Terrace

The beauty of Talbot's Taproom & Terrace, I've found, is that there is no wrong choice. Have a seat at the bar, in the dining room, or on the playful patio - you will enjoy all of it.

The menu is approachable, but never predictable. Pierogies as an entree? Check. A huge fish sandwich on a brioche bun? Done. BBQ beef ribs? Just order them.

A particular favorite of mine is the appetizer menu. You'll find selections that you won't see anywhere else. Don't miss the pepperoni balls (absolutely one of a kind), the crab dip, or the shoestring angel onions.

There's a certain finesse to the service, too. It's obvious the whole staff takes pride in making Talbot's a top dining destination, a destination that has definitely created & captured its own scene.

I always discover something new to like here. The vibe is funky, the smiles are plentiful, and the prices are reasonable.

An awesome dinner waiting to be had by all . Me and my family just had a great meal starting with calamari that was the best I ever had . The prime rib just melted in your mouth. Great list of bottled drinks . Service was fast and friendly. Management was absolutely great . If anyone is traveling through this is a must STOP . ????????????

If you are traveling on 1-80 near Mercer, PA (close to Youngstown, OH), take a break for lunch or dinner at Talbot’s. What a gem! Nice assortment of on tap (and bottled) brews. We had the baked Brie, and wonderful salads. I added the steak and my husband added the salmon - both were delicious. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. All the the artwork (and large yeti statue on the patio) were added bonuses! I would definitely come back!

We lucked out on our cross -country drive west via I-80 when we decided to detour here for lunch. What a fun place! Lovely outdoor patio and play area for kids, excellent food, good music and vibes.

The best place to eat in the area hands down. They always have amazing specials and their drinks are awesome! The outside area for kids is amazing and they are so entertained inside trying to spot the Sasquatches hiding in corners, lights and the ceiling! Such eclectic artwork to take in and the mood is calming and inviting. Love love love it here.
