We got the 3 meat meal. Came with 2 sides, we chose fried with the brisket gravy on the side and baked beans. It came with a cornbread biscuit. It was soooo yummy.
I have a friend LOVES THIS PLACE HE SWEARSBYTHE BRISKET AND RIBS I TRIED THEIR BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA IT WAS A LITTLE MORE SPICIER THEN I PREFER BUT WAS GOOD COOKED IN BRICK OVEN .
I just had their BBQ WINGS! Outstanding ..just the right amount of smoke and so Meaty. Best I've had in a long time. Thank you Smokey Martin's.. ?
The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Though they didn't practice social distancing or wear masks properly. The wait was a little long, but ribs and brisket were great. Chicken was a bit bland, and they were out of cornbread. Still they are new so will be giving them another chance.
Smoky Martin's is a welcome addition to the Shenango Valley. I've been saying for a long time that we needed a barbecue place.
Smoky Martin's boasts a large menu, but due to the COVID closure, they have only been serving a select menu at this location out of their portable trailer.
We tried the menu which included ribs, chicken, brisket, pulled pork, a bevy of sides and drinks. Personally, I love the brisket. Tender and with a great smoky flavor. The bark is delicious and the smoke ring was nice and visible. As for sides, the baked beans were ok, but I loved the potato hash.
The only thing that was an issue both times I visited was that they ran out of food so quickly. I guess that's a testament to how good it is. The community seems to be getting behind them, and I wish them continued success.
