East Gourmet Buffet

I love this Chinese buffet. It is very small, but the food is very excellent. They are right by the Johnson city mall so it is a great place to go after shopping with friends. I have had many people tell me not to go here that they dont like the food but I think that it is actually one buffet that has good food and good customer service.

Customer service there has improved a great deal and their food is very good! I was seated promptly and it was well within my budget.

It's a decent buffet with a good assortment of food and at a great price... everything, except for the sushi, is labeled, which is great, but the sushi needs to be labeled as well. Personally, I have a shellfish allergy , so it would be nice to know what is what so I know what to avoid and what I can have. I'm sure I am not the only one with this issue.
The restaurant is clean, the seating is comfortable and on the whole I've always had a very nice experience at East Gourmet Buffet. You would get at least one more star from me if you would just label the sushi :-)

Tuesday eat in for Seniors get a discount. Sushi is made fresh, you can even find American items in the buffet.

My daughter loves it. Food is pretty good. This is a four of five stars for the type of restaurant it is, a Chinese food buffet. It is not a four star restaurant when compared to those at the casino or almost anything in Philadelphia, but we still go there a couple times a year.
